Gt5 is delayed once again so we have more time for more rounds.

Sorry about the delay guys i had to go out of town unexpectedly, wont happen again. It looks like between my email and zissou's thread we've had only 7 replays submitted, not including mine.

Live, can you confirm that we will need to have our times in for this stage by Sunday (or otherwise), and let us know the deadline for submission?

I think so too.

Last week i cave the Clio a shake down at Fuji. Reaches place 70 or something in about 8 laps. Tried this one and reaches 240 or something in the same 8 laps. Think that speaks for it selfs.

Is there any tuning allowed in Time Trial modes? Just bought GT5p this weekend to hold me over. I'm attempting the M3 on Suzuka to get a feel for it. First time with a wheel and I'm running 2:29.663 on my first few laps...am I that bad? Online ranking was a truly sad 3900 or something like that.

No tuning, so you are 3900th fastest! Congratulations!
Imagine how far you could move up in 2 or 3 years. This is a popular car and a popular track so there are more times set here than most car/track combos. Keep at it, you'll break the top 1000 before long, then top 100 with some red bull and cheetos (thats what works for me:)).
 
Dropped 5 seconds after a little more practice. I get so frustrated with one little "clip" of the grass disqualifying the whole lap. :grumpy:

I had time for a second session today and broke into the top 10 (just barely) with a 1'16.277. Then I had a .1 going a few times and kept throwing it away at the final chicane, so I gave up for the day :(

This is a really competitive time trial! I noticed that positions 11 through 16 are separated by about a tenth. And there are some clutch users near the top, so I don't know if any of us will be able to get too close to the front. :embarrassed:

Also, it's interesting that position 1 is almost 3 tenths ahead of such a close pack... :odd:

I'm nowhere near your pace my friend. I can't perform at suzuka ,never seem to put a good lap altogether,i always mess up somewhere. But even if i did i couldn't find more than 3-4 tenths..

Lol at first being 3 tenths faster than 2nd... Or even better ----> LOLPAWN

I just thought it was a little odd. The whole pack is very close together and then the guy in first place has a big gap :odd:

EDIT: WTF is up with gear ratios on the r8???And all cars... I mean,couldn't they fix as standard some proper ratios for each car so that it suits all tracks and not only ovals??? With the f40 for example i doubt if you ever shift to 3rd in london...

I think official competitions for London just have a "no wall" rule. I don't know if I have ever seen one where you couldn't hop curbs :)
